MiniMed™ 780G system with Guardian™ 4 sensor now comes with no fingersticks when using system in SmartGuard™ technology. No fingerstick required for calibration. Less to do, less to worry about.
Guardian™ 4 sensors are only compatible with the MiniMed™ 780G system when used with the Guardian™ 4 transmitter. Patients using the MiniMed™ 770G system with Guardian™ Sensor (3) may be eligible for a free software upgrade to the MiniMed™ 780G to enable use of the Guardian™ 4 sensor.
